AF Core Global is live but let me tell you something they don’t put in the “how to build a website in one day” tutorials.
Before you get the site, you get the chaos. You get the wrong tools, the wasted money, the moments where you stare at the screen wondering if you’ve made a terrible mistake.
And if you’re lucky – if you push through all of that – you end up somewhere you never quite expected.
This is that story.
This is the story of how AF Core Global was built – from zero, by one person, with no agency and no shortcuts.
It Started With a Referral Link
Like most ideas, this one started simple. Almost embarrassingly simple.
I kept seeing affiliate websites generating real, consistent income. And I kept thinking: I have a computer science degree. I’ve worked in web design professionally. Why not me?
The original plan wasn’t even a website. I was already investing – on eToro, on Kraken – and both platforms gave me referral links. Share them with friends, they sign up, everyone wins. I was posting them on my personal Facebook page.
Then I learned that’s not exactly… allowed. Platforms don’t love it when you mass-distribute referral links outside their terms. Accounts can get flagged. Banned.
But by the time I figured that out, something had already shifted in my mind. The idea of a proper platform – a real destination for this kind of content – had taken root.
And I wasn’t going to let it go.
The Wrong Starts (There Were Several)
My first stop was Google Sites. Simple, free, and – as I quickly realized – completely amateur. It looked like a school project from 2009. I knew immediately it wasn’t going anywhere.
So I started researching. And the first real decision I made was buying a domain.
After hours on papaki.gr, testing names, checking availability, I landed on afcoreglobal.com. I bought it immediately – before I had a hosting plan, before I had a design, before I had any idea how to turn it into something real.
But it was mine. A real piece of the internet that no one could take from me.
That felt important.
The €230 Bet That Almost Felt Like a Mistake
For AF Core Global, next came hosting. I tried IONOS first – an incredible offer, €1 for a year. I jumped on it without thinking.
But I didn’t give it a real chance, because by then I had already started using AI assistants more seriously. I’d moved from Gemini to Claude for the site build, and was using Grok for the financial analysis side. The recommendation was clear: if you want a serious WordPress affiliate site, use 10Web.
So I paid €230 for a year. And almost immediately thought I had thrown it in the trash.
Here’s what happened: 10Web’s AI builder created the site in minutes. Impressive. But when I tried to edit the details – the actual design, the specific feel I wanted to give visitors – I couldn’t find the Elementor editor anywhere. Only their own AI editor, which didn’t give me the control I needed.
For someone with a background in web design, that was unacceptable. I didn’t build this to let an algorithm decide what my site looks like.
I contacted 10Web support. They told me the classic Elementor access had been disabled but would be unlocked within days.
Two days later – May 11th, 2026 – it was.
And everything you’re reading today was built in the three days that followed.
What “Three Days” Actually Means
People will tell you: you can build a website in a day.
What they won’t tell you is that before that day, there are weeks of learning what doesn’t work first.
Before the site went live, I had to understand:
The invisible foundation – Cloudflare for DNS, SSL certificates, and PageSpeed optimization. Boring words that mean one thing: Google won’t trust your site if you skip them. We hit 100/100. That matters.
Making Google find you – Google Search Console, a sitemap, and Google Analytics. None of this is visible to readers. All of it determines whether readers ever find you.
Teaching Google what the site is about – Rank Math to set the right titles, descriptions, and keywords for every page. The information Google reads before deciding whether to show your site to someone searching for financial help.
Building trust before traffic – an About Us page, an Affiliate Disclaimer, a Privacy Policy. Without them, no serious reader will trust you.
None of this was in the “one day website” video I watched on YouTube.
The Social Media Chapter (Including the Part I’d Rather Forget)
From day one, I knew AF Core Global needed to exist beyond the website. So I created accounts everywhere – Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube.
Then I tried to create the first video using an AI video tool called InVideo.
I misunderstood the settings, the video generation stopped halfway through, and my entire monthly credit allowance was gone. No video. No credits. Just a lesson.
To their credit, InVideo’s support team returned some of the credits. But I haven’t gone back since.
That chapter isn’t closed – I’ll try again and tell you how it goes – but for now, the social media presence is running on written content. The video side is coming. It has to.
But I’m not going to pretend I have it figured out yet.
What I’ve Actually Built — I’m Still Finding Out
Here’s the honest truth.
I’m not sure I fully understand what I’ve created yet.
This is so new to me that I’m discovering in real time what I’m capable of when I commit to something.
What I do know is this: I want to grow alongside you. Not in front of you. Not above you.
I’m not here to tell you I have all the answers. I’m not smarter than you. I’m not better than you. I’m just someone who decided to put his knowledge to work – to create something that gives real value to an area where ordinary people like us are constantly told it’s too complicated, too risky, too exclusive.
That it’s a privilege reserved for the few.
I want to change that.
Even if it helps just one person look at the world of money without fear.
That’s why AF Core Global exists and why I believe AF Core Global can make a real difference.
