What Makes a Stock “High Voltage”?
We look for companies with specific characteristics:
Strong growth momentum. Revenue growing significantly year over year. A business that is expanding, not contracting.
A real competitive advantage. Something that makes this company hard to replicate. Technology, data, brand, network effects.
A clear market opportunity. The company is operating in a sector that is growing – AI, defense, energy transition, biotech, or any industry that the world is moving toward.
Acceptable risk profile. We avoid companies with serious legal issues, accounting irregularities, or leadership problems – no matter how exciting the story sounds.
The Risk You Need to Understand
High Voltage stocks can move dramatically in both directions.
A single earnings report can send a stock up 20% or down 30% in one day. A market correction can drag even the strongest companies down significantly before they recover.
This volatility is not a bug. It’s a feature. It’s precisely because of this volatility that High Voltage stocks offer the potential for extraordinary returns.
But you need to be prepared for the ride. Emotionally and financially.
